TransAct! offers an excellent pay-per-lead type affiliate program network. When you sign up to become a TransAct! affiliate, you are provided with a variety of offers from companies that use the TransAct! service. Each offer promises to pay a set commission for each lead your web site generates. Leads are generated when a person visits from your site, newsletter, email, etc. and fills out a form requesting more information or a trial of a product.
Program Details:
What makes the TransAct! program so strong is that all offers are free to visitors, allowing you to earn commissions without anyone having to buy anything. This will result in a much higher conversion rate than a typical affiliate program (although the commission per lead is often lower than a commission per sale). Commissions for current offers range from $0.75 per lead to up to $10 per lead for specialized categories, with most being in the $1-2 range. TransAct! uses a unique code to track responses for each affiliate and offer. Weekly tracking of performance is available each Wednesday for most offers, and commission checks are generally sent out monthly. TransAct! also offers a variety of monthly contests that affiliates are able to participate it. One limitation is that they often do not accept smaller, low traffic sites.
Visitor Feedback:
The Transact! program has received good feedback on its overall profit potential, however their have been some compliants about affiliate (customer) service, and the slow responses to emails when there are problems with the program. Several visitors have recommended Onresponse and Websponsors over this program.
